Of course, we comply with the legal provisions of data protection laws (Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) new and EU GDPR), the German Telemedia Act (TMG), and other data protection regulations.

Due to a requirement by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which became effective on 25 May 2018, we are obligated pursuant to art. 13 GDPR to provide you with detailed information about the personal data obtained about you as you use our website (hereafter only referred to as “data”). We are pleased to fulfill this obligation.

3. Purpose of data processing

The data you yourself provide to us are stored and processed for the sole purpose of processing your request, such as:

  • To reply to specific requests
  • To process a donation

4. Categories of processed data

  • Title, first name, last name
  • Street address, house number, postal code, place
  • Contact information (phone, e-mail)
  • Type of donation (transfer or direct debit authorization)
  • Transfer data (amount, IBAN, BIC, financial institution)

Your data are not shared with third parties.

Regardless of this, usage data of the respective website visitors are transmitted each time this website is accessed by the respective Internet browser and stored in log files, so-called server log files. The following data are stored:

  • IP address (Internet Protocol address) of the accessing device
  • Session ID
  • Date and time of access
  • Referral URL (origin URL) from which the user arrives at the accessed page
  • Number of session cookies
  • The processing of these data is based on art. 6 para. 1 item f GDPR.

5. Processing period

We only need your data for the time it takes to fulfill the above-stated purposes.

Business documents and inquiries are stored at maximum 6 or 10 years based on the provisions of the commercial code and tax code, and then they are destroyed pursuant to DIN 66399.

Pursuant to GDPR, you have the right:
